Land at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to our hotel in Arusha.

2-3 Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire National Park, and head out on safari to spot giraffes, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, and more. Stop in at the Noloholo Environmental Centre, directed by National Geographic Explorer Laly Lichtenfeld. Hear about the centre’s conservation programmes, and visit a field project.*

4-5 Ngorongoro Crater

Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage site. More than 12 miles in diameter, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unflooded caldera in the world and is inhabited by some 25,000 animals. The next day, descend into the crater for a picnic breakfast, then embark on a safari.

6-8 Serengeti National Park

Fly to the Serengeti and check in to Sayari Camp located near the Mara River. Go on safari, and take an optional hot-air balloon ride. Sayari Camp (B/L/D Daily)
